512 MB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM from Elpida are Intel Certified

Elpida today announced that Intel has successfully passed the verification tests for its PC2-4200 (533 Mbps) DDR2 SDRAM memory modules.

New 512 MB Unbuffered DDR2 SDRAM modules EBE51UD8ABFA-5C are made on eight 512 Mbit DDR2-533 chips with a supply voltage of 1.8 V and manufactured by Elpida in compliance with the 0.11 micron technical process.

The company also announced its readiness for mass production of such modules. Elpida also plans to announce readiness for mass production of PC2-5400 modules (667 Mbps) in the near future.
