Heat transfer coefficients for steam and hot water coils submerged in oil tanks.Sizing Calculator – Carlson Heat Exchanger

The surface area of the coil can be calculated by multiplying the pipe circumference with pipe length as. A = π ( m) (10 m) = m2. From the table above the heat transfer coefficient is W/m2 oC for “Steam to Light Oil, Natural Convection”. The heat transfer can be calculated as. This calculator will help determine which exchanger has enough heat transfer capacity for your system. Usage: When BTU requirement is known (most applications): enter the BTU requirement. – Temp In, Temp Out, and GPM are shaded for Hot and Cold. – enter two of the three shaded portions for Hot. – enter two of the three shaded portions for Cold. – enter Specific Heat & Specific Gravity for both Hot & . If one knows the amount of heat required from a coil, the EAT and LAT; and want to calculate the amount of airflow required, the equation becomes: SCFM = Q / * (LAT – EAT) If one knows the amount of heat required, the airflow, and the EAT, and want to calculate the required LAT, the correctFile Size: KB.

Dec 13,  · The calculation for this is as follows; BTUH (t) = CFM x x [Et (h) – Lt (h)] Cooling Coil Total Heat Transfer. To calculate the Total BTUH you will need to know how much CFM is traveling over the coil, and what the entering and leaving total enthalpy. BTUH (t) = Total BTU per ted Reading Time: 2 mins. Oct 06,  · The heat exchanger design equation, Q = U A ΔTlm, can be used to determine the required heat transfer area, A, for a heat ted Reading Time: 4 mins.

HighPoint’s New Serial ATA Rocket Series Devices

HighPoint announced that it has expanded its Serial ATA product line with two single-channel innovations: the Rocket 1511 host adapter and an external Serial ATA e.SATA B11 with required accessories.

Rocket 1511 card for 32-bit 33/66 MHz PCI bus allows you to add a PC that does not support Serial ATA, one channel of this interface. The Rocket 1511 adapter supports disks with a capacity of more than 137 GB, it can be used on systems running Windows 98 / ME / NT 3.51-4.0/2000 / XP, Linux (SuSE, Red Hat, Caldera, Turbo) and FreeBSD. The package includes the card itself, a CD with drivers and a user’s manual.

Rocket e set.SATA B11 is designed for motherboards with an integrated SATA controller and is an insert for the rear of the computer complete with a Serial ATA cable, which allows you to connect external Serial ATA drives to the system (for example, the same external SATA RocketMate hard drives from HighPoint itself).
