Any side scrolling beat-em-ups for the NDS? I have a Final Fight / Streets of Rage itch all of a sudden and wondering whether there are any for the DS. 11 comments. Aug 13,  · Just a heads up, Ultimate-Spiderman is a side scrolling beat-em-up on the DS but it sucks ass, don’t bother with it. It’s kind of like a simple Diablo. It’s pretty basic but the local multiplayer is fun if you can convince a friend to pick up a copy (online is pretty much dead though) and people who enjoy leveling up characters and picking out skills will find quite a bit of replay value.

Infineon and Nanya form an alliance … and start breathing Samsung into the back of the head

Taiwan Economic News and Financial Times report that by forming an alliance, Infineon and Nanya were able to bypass their main competitors (Hynix and Micron) to come in second place. Market leader Samsung sold 389 million in the last quarter. in 128 Mbit-equivalent chips, and the market share was 29.8%, while the total market share of Infineon + Nanya is just over 20%. Infineon CEO Ulrich Schumacher said the companies are aiming to be # 1 in the DRAM market by 2021.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement between the two companies, Nanya will account for a third of the production capacity of 90nm and 70nm norms, while the remaining two-thirds will be given to contract manufacturers.

Along with strengthening its partnership with Nanya, Infineon is also negotiating with Chinese SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp.) and Shanghai Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. The two companies are expected to master the production of chips for Infineon at 0.11-micron and 0.14-micron standards.

Both Infineon and Nanya use trench-type DRAM in production, while Samsung, Hynix, Micron and Elpida Memory use stack-type. Currently, according to Schumacher, only Samsung can form any serious competition for the Infineon-Nanya alliance, especially after Nanya breaks away with the start of mass production of chips on 300-mm substrates at the new plant. At the same time, in his opinion, hard times await Hynix and Micron, as both have not yet retooled their production lines and suffer from too low efficiency of their production.
