Migo: more than just a USB stick

Technological progress has long stepped so far that it is already difficult to surprise us, for example, with a cell phone in a watch or a miniature PC on Linux in the same wrist timekeeping devices. But PowerHouse Technologies division, Forward Solutions, presented such an unusual solution for the USB flash drive market: Migo.

In addition to the fact that Migo can be used as a regular storage medium, the device completely copies the personalized system settings: Windows wallpaper, Internet connection settings, email accounts, personal pictures, videos, presentations and other documents. When installed on another computer, Migo allows you to restore all settings and personal documents saved in this way.

Migo is currently available on the company’s website for $ 150 for 128MB and $ 200 for the 256MB version. So far, only USB 1 is supported.1, support USB 2.0 expected later this fall.
