PSR-1100 and PSR-2100: new synthesizer models from Yamaha

Yamaha has officially unveiled the new PSR-1100 and PSR-2100 synthesizers for amateurs and professional musicians, supporting a host of new features, including display notation, internet access, and more. Both models include a graphical display of a list of preset songs, styles, modes, tooltips, lyrics, scores and more. Standard MIDI file data can be used in Style mode, this allows you to instantly transfer a song from one mode to another, which is very convenient for arrangers. In addition, features include a Music Finder function that allows you to find the desired song by one name.

Additional innovations include twice the memory bank capacity of previous models, new Styles and Voices, AWM Sound System, XG and MIDI compatibility, enhanced bass reflex system with two-way stereo speakers and new effects, exclusive Yamaha Sweet, Cool and Live Voices. In addition, the PSR 2100 also features “organ flute” tones. The PSR-1100 and PSR-2100 are equipped with a LY (Lyrics) function that allows you to scroll the lyrics on the display as you play, adding karaoke capabilities to the synthesizer. Lyrics can also be displayed alongside scores.

In addition to MIDI connectors, the PSR-1100 and PSR-2100 are equipped with a USB port for connecting to a PC.
