on the beginning of deliveries of 18 Mbit chips QDR, QDR-II, DDR and DDR-II. Available in 24 configurations,
new chips are designed for use in applications skipping per unit

The frequency at which the new chips operate is 250 MHz, the bandwidth
is about 36 Gbps. The initial delay of the chips is 1.5 clock cycles for
QDR-II and DDR-II and 1 clock for QDR and DDR. Chip packaging – 165-pin

The architecture of the QDR, QDR-II, DDR and DDR-II SRAM chips was developed by the development team
QDR Co-Development Team, which includes: Cypress, IDT, NEC, Renesas, Samsung,
and until recently Micron.

Cypress plans to introduce 37 and 72 Mbit chips in early 2021.
